Cocktail Hour for the Children?:

All games and activities for the child and their friends are hosted by the DJ. Please make sure to communicate with your DJ before each event to discuss activities for the child as well as the giveaways they will be bringing to your affair. Initially, when the room first opens for the receptions, the band will perform approximately for 10-15 minutes of high energy music until the family is ready to be announced into the room by the DJ. The candle lighting ceremony will follow immediately. After the last candle is lit, the candles are normally blown out by the family together. After this, the guests and the band sing "Happy Bar/Bat Mitzvah" to the guest of honor. The hurrahs follow immediately, then the blessing, then the toasts, once the toasts are finished, the first course is served. Since the children normally will finish their meals very quickly, normally a game is played with the DJ and the children in front of all of the guests. The game should last between 10- 15 minutes. After that time, the band should provide dance music until the next course is being served.
